Silver Eagle's three-layer fabric design offers easy, effective, ultra-lightweight cooling relief without substantial weight or bulk.  No chemicals, gels, ice packs, or refrigeration are required to activate the cooling process.  Instead, Silver Eagle garments are submerged in water for a few minutes, and the special construction of the fabric absorbs and retains the optimal amount of water without swelling or over-saturation.  Over time, this moisture is released through evaporation to produce gentle cooling.  Worn dry, the vest provides an effective barrier to wind and cold.
